ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

Art Journey traces Julia Borg’s artistic evolution from the birth of her son through the first three years of motherhood. Changes in colour, style and subject reflect a deeply personal journey of transformation, femininity and self-discovery.

A spontaneous moment when her son added his own marks to the canvas opened a new direction in Julia’s work. From the bold contrasts of the Mosaic series to landscapes, seascapes and paintings inspired by Monet, the collection reveals an artistic language evolving alongside motherhood.

At the heart of the exhibition are Towards Tomorrow and Bonded Wings — two works expressing growth, connection and the enduring bond between mother and child. Art Journey presents creativity as a source of balance, healing and courage during times of change.
